Oh my! I didn’t see you come in. Hello there. First of all my name is Chris Parker. I’ve been working in audio in some capacity for the past 15 years or so, moving into podcasting, sound design, and audio/video editing in the last 5, ultimately culminating in my most recent work on Shadows over Loathing and being Audio director and designer on Wizard With a Gun. I am entirely self-taught, having fast-tracked a considerable amount of my sound design practice during COVID, working on the Comedy of Terrors DND podcast doing sometimes hundreds of sounds a month. I consistently bring much more than expected to all of my ventures. I was originally set to simply edit that podcast, but by the end I was editor, sound designer, occasional co-writer, and guest star. Due in large part to an insistence on quality of work, a penchant for interesting ideas, and being easier and more enjoyable to work with than just about anyone else. I work in Reaper for audio, have robust experience with FMOD, and have worked in Unity and Spine for implementation. I also have some experience with Audiokinetic’s Wwise, but am always learning more every day.
